So you get the crash by going a view back as well? (Like hitting the back button or the Escape-key)

So far only the keys and the forum medals were sent out/applied, but we'll make an announcement before release about how the remaining rewards are handled. For those who are not in Discord all the time:
There is now an semi official option to use Textures for your Crosshair now but it has to be done in the ini files.
Search in:
UDKGame\Config
for the
UDKWeapon.ini

Open it and look for the CrossHairItem-Arrays.
"WeaponName" tells you which Crosshair you have and the last and normally empty Variable "CustomTexture" is the thing you want to fill in your texture path. (there are two of them, 1 per Layer)

That texture needs to be in an UDK-Package in your Toxikk folder (You can use the UDK for that or ask someone in Discord to create it for you)
When that's done you need to fill in the path for the texture like this:
CustomTexture="crzbeacons.Textures.BCN_HUD_ArrowPointer"

Once that's done save the ini- file and start Toxikk.
The size, colour, rotation, Offset and glow can be still changed in the editor but setting symbols won't work as long as there is a texture inserted in that layer.
Be careful with the default button because it will delete the texture path.

WARNING! THIS CAN BE UNSTABLE ON SOME SYSTEMS. DON'T USE TEXTURED CROSSHAIRS IF YOUR SYSTEM CRASHES BECAUSE OF IT!

Okay, it's exactly 9 days till release of 1.0 and, as promised, we'll now try to enter a more intense dialogue with our core community about their highest priority changes, tweaks and/or fixes. Consider something broken? Want a weapon's fire rate or damage impact changed? Hate a specific sound effect? Let us know below!




You can name up to 3 tweaks. Tweaks could be something you consider broken, want rebalanced or changed. Tweak week is not to request completely new features (as the chances are low that we'll find the time to put them in), but tweaks of existing stuff. Whatever you call out for, please do not exceed three entries. Entries must be listed in THIS thread (but you can include links to external threads, if you're referring to something that was discussed before).




You list your favorite tweak(s) here, we'll look into them and put (whatever we can) into the next patch (.98) landing this weekend. We'll then come back to this thread and talk to you... making more changes to it for .99 (landing some point next week). And finally release 1.0 on Friday next week (9/9/16).
This'll be some sprint... but it'll also be tons of fun! Let's do this.

can you add -forcelogflush to your steam launchoptions and post the end of your log file here when it crashes?
You can also add -log to the launchoptions and play the game in window mode and make screenshot of the end of the logwindow.
That would be really helpfull

Yup, 100% agreed.

That "trailer" (which was in fact the release date reveal "teaser") was only the first (and shortest) video in a series of six videos to be released up to Sep. 09. There'll be another 5 videos with four of them being "focus" videos (weapons, movement, vehicles, maps) and the last one being the actual release trailer.

So, fear not... all will be good! ;)

Did you try adding
-windowed -resx=800 -resy=600
The problem you described sounds like a resolution problem caused by the multi monitor setup. The engine sometimes gets confused by that and sets up an impossible starting resolution.
