It's a known issue that appears if a match doesn't at least take ~8 minutes. Sorry. :(
Be fixed with the next patch.

Of course. The armors have zero impact on playability whatsoever... Strictly cosmetic items only.

Hey Raidakk... I've actually seen some of your post on other forums. Think I remembered your nick because of the "KK" (4evahhh!!1!)... ;)

About the weapons: We kinda mixed different approaches to A) please the old-school and B) also make it accessible to new players, comin from e.g. today's military shooters. The learning curve is already steep if you enter AFPS freshly. Further simplification is also not desired, because some players already complain that they are not gimmicky enough.

When completing the arsenal, we were aiming at a "middle-ground" between the simplicity (and intuition) of classic DOOM and Quake on the one hand and the gimmickyness of UT on the other hand.

Having said that... while the base of the weapons is pretty much final, there will still be heavy adjustments/changes done to them and their mechanics. We reserved a time we call "tweak weeks" for that. These will start once the game is 100% content complete (which is close) and will be announced seperately (to let as many people join and comment as possible).

Yea, having "YOU'VE UNLOCKED HELMET XY" as an animated text message with a nice japanese "badl-biiiinng" after a match is on our list. We also thing about removing "PROFILE" from the main menu, as its sub points could also be accessed by clicking on the items in the top line (MXP, GPOS, RANK etc.), and then replacing PROFILE with a direct linkt to CUSTOMIZATION... Because that already sounds more inviting.

It's not that one helmet/armor/color/camouflage/glow etc. is necessarily more "elite" than another one... (although "PINK PATRIOT" is special... c'mon :P). You're just unlocking more options as you progress.

About the ranks: The game is in Early Access. It only had two characters for quite some time... and we're yet to finalize how armors get assigned to specific ranks. For now, we made them a simple progression, as this is what everybody understands instantly... and maybe we'll stick to that.

Hello Zedek.
Loading images into flash on runtime can cause additional instability in scaleform, that's why we don't support it by default.
But I'll look into building a hybrid if you want. That would mean that there would be Texture variables like:
CustomWeaponBar and CustomWeaponActive
that would be used if != none.

Same for the vehicles. But that'll need some time for planing, since there's a lot of stuff happening in the flash files themselves.
