Random game crashes

Report Game Breaking Bugs, Crashes or Anything Else of High Priority

  • My game crashes. A lot. Sometimes after alt-tabbing, sometimes during playing, sometimes just after loading a map. Logs don't show anything suspicious but I can post them if that's necessary. Also my PC meets game requirements and I verified the game files via steam.

  • Hello, could you please add this to your steamlauncher:
    -log -forcelogflush
    To do that:
    Open Steam -> right click on Toxikk -> Properties -> Set Launch Options
    -Log give you a window that lets you see whats happening in real time and -forcelogflush tells the engine to write down everything immediately, otherwise the Logfile is some times incomplete.

  • Game still crashing, new log, maybe this one will help. There is some "CheckConnectionAttempt: Connection attempt has not yet completed." going on which is kinda strange as I am not loosing connection, the game just crashes mid-game.

  • Also the crashes happen almost always on maps like Ganesha and Castello. Not sure if that ever happened on Cube or Foundation.

  • Hmm, I'm not really seeing what could cause the crash in the logs.
    Did you already try to validate your Data thru steam?

  • Tried veryfing the game files. I also wiped clean all the steam and game files and installed again. Still crashing.
    All drivers up to date. All other games working without any problems. No idea.
