[EVENT] Tweak Week: Tell us your most wanted Tweaks

    Okay, it's exactly 9 days till release of 1.0 and, as promised, we'll now try to enter a more intense dialogue with our core community about their highest priority changes, tweaks and/or fixes. Consider something broken? Want a weapon's fire rate or damage impact changed? Hate a specific sound effect? Let us know below!




    You can name up to 3 tweaks. Tweaks could be something you consider broken, want rebalanced or changed. Tweak week is not to request completely new features (as the chances are low that we'll find the time to put them in), but tweaks of existing stuff. Whatever you call out for, please do not exceed three entries. Entries must be listed in THIS thread (but you can include links to external threads, if you're referring to something that was discussed before).




    You list your favorite tweak(s) here, we'll look into them and put (whatever we can) into the next patch (.98) landing this weekend. We'll then come back to this thread and talk to you... making more changes to it for .99 (landing some point next week). And finally release 1.0 on Friday next week (9/9/16).
    This'll be some sprint... but it'll also be tons of fun! Let's do this.

  • 1. Domination points which require a player to be in a specified radius for a specified amount of time instead of instant capture.

    2. remove extra ammo cost for secondary fire of violator and stingray weapons

  • 1) Dragoneer
    - primary: less visual obstruction, less self-damage, no "stop-fire" when you bump into the enemy
    - secondary: nerf from 200 to 140 (so someone with full health + 50 armor can survive it)
    2) Jetpack activation
    3) Decay health and armor above 100 down to 100

  • [1] Reduced damage on vehicles with all weapons (or for more clarity and a "red line" more health on vehicles)
    [2] Let the Mech control the missiles via moving the mouse when they launch/fly. This would add so much more fun, skill and usefullness to the rockets!
    [3] Jetpack key activation!

    Sadly i can only post 3 things, but the dragoneer rework is very important too and point 3 from pred sounds pretty cool. worth a try!

  • 1. pump up the sound when you make a point in CC game mode or change it completely. now it mingles with the other sound effects, and in the middle of the fight I never hear it.

    2. true, jetpack activation is something I still have not understood.

    3. more gore, blood and splatter.

  • [1] updated scoreboards for CC/Team Modes - Show how many cell captures a player has made, how many assists and who currently holds the cell (icon next to the player's name on scoreboard)

    [2] Swap primary/secondary fire modes in weapons menu

    [3] Regardless of what the playercount of a server is set to, make team games balance out by adding a bot; no one likes to play an entire game of CC as 3 v 2. Also, take into consideration SC levels when assigning players to teams; avoid having a stacked teams.
